Requesting a second opinion

As a reference center, the King Albert II Institute wishes to offer each patient the possibility of receiving a second opinion on the treatments proposed to treat cancer or any hematological disease.

Within the King Albert II Institute, multidisciplinary consultations are organized on a regular basis for all types of cancer. Specialists in each field participate every week. Their university expertise and the use of state-of-the-art equipment enable them to offer each patient a personalized treatment. This treatment is based on the experience of the multidisciplinary group, on international literature and on the latest scientific advances in diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

The experience and involvement of our teams in the most important international scientific societies give them a high level of expertise, even for the rarest cases.

The King Albert II Institute is an integral part of Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc. Effective collaboration with all the other medical and paramedical specialties enables us to offer patients excellent, comprehensive and global care.

Our Institute's intense research activity also enables us to offer patients the very latest treatments. Depending on the case, these treatments can be offered even before they are made available on the market.
